EA Sports FC 27 will officially launch globally on September 25, 2026. Pre-orders are now open, and players can choose different Editions according to their needs. Below, we'll first compare the differences between the Edition, and then review the currently released game trailers.
Purchaseable Editions Comparison
FC 27 will be released in three Edition: Standard Edition, Ultimate Edition, and a limited-time Ultimate Plus Edition.
Standard Edition
The basic version, with the lowest price. Includes the full game, suitable for players who mainly play Career Mode or occasionally experience Ultimate Team. Pre-orders will grant some The Grounds and Career Mode rewards, as well as 92+ ICON player cards from FC 26. No Early Access; access will be available only after the global launch on September 25th.
Ultimate Edition
The mid-range version, including up to 7 days of Early Access (expected to be available on September 18th). Ultimate Plus Edition offers approximately 6,000 FC Points, a Season 1 Premium Pass, an extra Evo slot, 85+ International Icons, and other FUT-related rewards, as well as additional bonuses in Career Mode. Suitable for players who will dedicate a significant amount of time to Ultimate Team.
Ultimate Plus Edition
The highest-end version, available for pre-order only until August 31, 2026. Building upon the Ultimate Edition, it offers an additional 10,000 FC Points, a Premium Pass for Seasons 1-5, Hall of FUT Player Picks, and other generous content. Designed specifically for hardcore Ultimate Team players, it provides the most significant early-game advantage, but also comes at the highest price.
Game Trailer Content
Based on the official trailer released on July 23 and subsequent announcements, FC 27 features significant upgrades in both gameplay and content. The most anticipated new content is The Grounds. This is a brand-new social football space where players can freely explore an open city environment, participate in street battles, 1v1 matches, and Clubs mode, and develop their player characters under the guidance of mentors. Characters like Mbappé and Alex Hunter will appear as mentors, making character progression more immersive.
In terms of core gameplay, the game enhances attacking space awareness and zigzag runs, adds an unbalanced dribbling mechanism, and reworks corner kicks, crosses, and defensive AI, resulting in a more realistic football feel. Authentic Gameplay 2.0 is also introduced, adding more depth and variety to matches.
The Career Mode features a revamped transfer market with more realistic player valuations and a dynamic overall rating system. Ultimate Team adds the FUT Gallery collection system and Hall of FUT, further enriching the collection and personalization experience.
The Role of FC 27 Coins
In FC 27, FC 27 coins will continue to play a crucial resource role. Whether buying player cards in Ultimate Team, completing transfer market transactions, or participating in various challenges and events, coins are the basic currency for progressing. Sufficient coins allow for more flexible lineup adjustments, seizing market opportunities, and faster adaptation to new version content and gameplay. For players looking to quickly establish a competitive edge after the game launches, understanding and preparing relevant resources in advance will help ensure a more complete gaming experience. If you want to quickly acquire a large number of coins to build your team after the game launches, you can buy IGGM FC 27 coins; this is the fastest and most efficient way to obtain a large number of coins.
